Data Deletion Instructions
You can request deletion of your TruRace account data, including data associated with Facebook login, by contacting TruRace directly.
How to request deletion
- 1Email info@thetrurace.com from the email address associated with your TruRace account.
- 2Use the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
- 3Include your name and the email address or Facebook account email used to create or access your TruRace account.
- 4If you cannot email from the account address, include enough information for us to reasonably verify that you own the account.
What we delete
- Account profile information maintained by TruRace, such as name, email address, display name, and account preferences.
- Facebook login identifiers or authentication records that connect your Facebook account to TruRace, where applicable.
- Race, leaderboard, referral, friend heat, and connected-account data associated with your TruRace account, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, payment, dispute, and operational recordkeeping requirements.
Timing and confirmation
We will review and process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period, unless retention is required or permitted by law, security, fraud prevention, payment processing, dispute resolution, or platform integrity needs.
After processing your request, we will send confirmation to the email address used for the request or to the verified account email.
