Support for athletes who connect Strava to TruRace to privately help create or update a TruRace competition seed or qualifying Prize Builder activity record.
How TruRace uses Strava
TruRace uses Strava, with athlete permission, to privately check recent activity summaries when the athlete submits or confirms a seed-related action or qualifying training activity.
TruRace only accesses Strava data authorized by the athlete, caches minimal activity summaries for up to 7 days, and does not sell athlete activity data.
After an athlete confirms a seed or Prize Builder action, the resulting TruRace competition seed, expected time, heat placement, handicap score, credit award, training consistency bonus, or race-related verification outcome may be retained as TruRace competition, credit, or accounting data. Those durable TruRace records are separate from the short-lived Strava activity summary and should not include underlying Strava activity details.

Disconnect Strava
You can disconnect TruRace from your Strava account at any time from your Strava settings under connected apps.
You can also disconnect Strava from your TruRace profile when signed in. When Strava is disconnected, TruRace removes stored Strava activity summaries and Strava-connected account credentials associated with your account. Separate TruRace competition, credit, or accounting records are retained only as TruRace records that do not include underlying Strava activity details, or when longer retention is required by law or by agreement with you.
If you request deletion of imported Strava data, TruRace will process the request expeditiously, complete deletion within 30 days unless a longer retention period is required by law or by agreement with you, and send written confirmation after the deletion is completed.
